Erasmus+

Humanitas University intends to implement the principles of the Erasmus + program in 2021 – 2027 through the objectives listed below:

• ensuring full and equal access for all participants, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds,
• having an ECTS credit allocation procedure,
• Implementation of the provisions of the European Student Card Initiative,
• promoting the Erasmus+ mobile application among students,
• implementing and promoting environmentally friendly practices within the Erasmus+ program,
• promoting civic attitudes among program participants, full non-discrimination compliance, complete recognition of all successfully completed courses attended during the study period abroad, and not charging incoming students any tuition fees, registration fees, or examination fees,
• access to laboratories or libraries.

To promote these priorities, all available means will be used, such as: information on the website and posters; distribution of flyers and brochures; publishing articles in the university weekly and on the web portal; organizing international open days, Erasmus Day events, and panel and individual meetings with students. These activities will promote all ideas related to EU policy, including those concerning full tolerance regardless of country of origin, race, gender, religious beliefs, worldview, sexual orientation, or disability of candidates.

Humanitas University’s application was positively evaluated by the Education, Culture and Audiovisual Executive Agency and received an Erasmus + Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for 2021-2027.

Holding an ECHE is a requirement that must be met by all higher education institutions from participating countries that wish to take part in educational mobility projects or cooperation projects for innovation and exchange of good practices under the program.

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) defines the general quality framework for activities that a higher education institution can carry out under the Erasmus+ program.
