Responsibilities

The Dean’s Office handles all administrative services for Students of the University. It keeps records of the course of study of all Students of the University. The Dean’s Office reports directly to the Deans and indirectly to the Rector. The Dean’s Office is headed by the Head of the Dean’s Office, who is responsible for the proper performance of the tasks of the entire department.

The responsibilities of the Dean’s Office staff include:

  • Internal supervision of the proper and reliable maintenance of the Humanitas University students’ course of study records
  • Providing material and cultural administrative services to Humanitas University students,
  • Ensuring the implementation of the established organization of the Humanitas University academic year,
  • Ensuring the implementation of the provisions of the Humanitas University study regulations, to the extent related to the course of study.

Dean’s duty hours

Theses

Studies at Humanitas University end with the preparation of a diploma thesis and passing the diploma exam. Regulatory requirements specify that the bachelor’s and master’s thesis (hereinafter referred to collectively as the diploma thesis): is performed independently by the student, under the guidance of the thesis supervisor, is subject to evaluation by a reviewer and the thesis supervisor, and is subject to defense during the diploma examination.
