English The Humanitas University is implementing the project “Internationalization of Computer Studies at the Humanitas University” No. FESL.10.25-IZ.01-074G/23, co-financed by the European Union under the European Union’s Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 Program (Just Transition Fund).

Cele i planowane efekty
The aim of the project is to develop education offer at the Humanitas University in line with the needs of the digital and green economy through the following:
1. Support for the Career Office at the Humanitas University through:
- employing a career coach,
- providing advisory support in English and Ukrainian to students of the Humanitas University
- organizing workshops and consultations with a career coach for secondary school students,
2. Increasing the attractiveness of studying at the Humanitas University by organizing internships for students.
3. Supporting secondary school students by the Humanitas University through the following workshops in English or Ukrainian:
- basic workshops in the field of digital and green competences and the “VR, robotics and artificial intelligence”,
- advanced workshops in the field of digital and green competences,
4. Retrofitting the Career Office at the Humanitas University.
Grupa docelowa i formy wsparcia
The target group of the project are persons living, studying or working in one of the 7 subregions of the Silesian Voivodeship specified in the Territorial Just Transition Plan, i.e. the Katowice, Sosnowiec, Tychy, Bytom, Gliwice, Rybnik and Bielsko-Biała subregion. Support will be provided to:
- Students of the Humanitas University – minimum 80 persons,
- Secondary school students – minimum 324 persons.
Planned forms of support:
1. For STUDENTS of the Humanitas University – we offer comprehensive support, among others, in career mapping and finding your place at the labor market through:
- consultations in English or Ukrainian with a career coach on the individual career path, including consultations on application documents, preparation for a job interview, consultations on the choice of field and specialization based on labor market research, the fate of graduates, and advice on starting a company. Average consultation time for 1 person – 2 hours (basic variant with discussion of the test), or 5 hours (extended variant – according to the participant’s needs, e.g. starting a company, preparing for a job interview)
- career coaching and mentoring (including support for women in managerial and leadership competences). An average mentoring meeting for 1 person – 5 hours.
- internships for students of Computer Science program taught in Ukrainian and English at the Humanitas University. The average duration of the internship is 5-7 months, two-thirds of a full-time job.
2. For STUDENTS of secondary schools:
- Basic workshops at the Humanitas University conducted in a foreign language, including:
- workshops on digital and green competences,
- VR, robotics and artificial intelligence,
- group career counseling with the option of individual online consultations.
- Advanced workshops at the Humanitas University conducted in a foreign language to further explore the topics covered in basic workshops.
